is to investigate, develop and manage information technology
in order to facilitate scientific progress to the international research
community and industry. With over 300 researchers,
BSC provides a supercomputing service and performs multidisciplinary
research and development in the areas of Computer Life
and Earth Sciences and Computational Applications in Science and
